Welcome to the heart of Blueridge! These programs are run by neighbours, for neighbours. Whether you’re looking to volunteer, get support, or just have fun, there is a place for you here in the BCA.

Featured: Cozy Nights

Once a Month | Neighbourhood Living Room Vibes. Trade your screen time for “we” time! Join us once a month for a casual evening to catch up with old friends and meet new neighbours over a few drinks. No agenda — just good company and great conversation.

Community Celebrations

  • Blueridge Good Neighbour Day: A massive annual family festival! A day of music, food, and fun for all ages.
  • Dîner en Bleu: Our local twist on the famous Dîner en Blanc. Join us in June for an elegant outdoor dining extravaganza!
  • Blueridge Awards: We love celebrating the people who make Blueridge shine. Nominate a neighbour who goes above and beyond.

Support & Connection

  • Blueridge Cares: We’re here for each other. This program supports local families during the holidays or difficult times.
  • Neighbours Helping Neighbours: a volunteer-led program by the BCA designed to provide short-term, one-off support to our fellow residents during unforeseen circumstances.
  • Welcoming New Residents: Just moved in? Our Welcome Committee has a special brochure and a warm greeting waiting for you.
  • Sitter & Tutor Directory: Find trusted local help for childcare, pet sitting, or tutoring right here in the neighbourhood.
  • Candidate Forums: Stay informed. We host nonpartisan forums before local elections so you can meet the people running for office.
  • Community FUNdation: Have a great idea for a local event? The BCA offers grants of up to $250 to help kickstart neighbourhood projects that promote goodwill.
  • Eric Andersen BCA Scholarship: We’re proud to offer a $750 scholarship to a graduating student who has shown exceptional volunteer spirit in Blueridge.

Green & Sustainable Blueridge

  • The Blueridge Sharing Garden: Located between Carnation and Lytton Streets, this is our neighbourhood oasis. Grow your own veggies or visit the Little Free Library!
  • Recycle for the BCA: Turn your empties into community impact! Use a participating Return-It depot to help fund these very programs.
