Below are the programs that BCA volunteers run for the community. Please keep Informed about these programs and volunteer to help if you can. You are also welcome to contact us if you have suggestions or questions about our programs. Click on the links for more information:

  • The Blueridge Awards are given once a year to community members who go above and beyond to improve our community.
  • The Blueridge Business Directory allows you to find and contact businesses based in and around Blueridge. Support local when you can!
  • Blueridge Cares provides support to Blueridge families during the holidays and difficult times, as well as acknowledging and supporting the efforts of the emergency workers in our community.
  • Blueridge Good Neighbour Day is an annual celebration and a fun day for the whole family.
  • We host Candidate Forums before local elections, to give residents a chance to learn more as they cast their ballots.
  • Diner En Bleu is our version of Diner En Blanc, an outdoor dining extravaganza in June!
  • The Eric Andersen Blueridge Community Association Scholarship is a $500 award given to a Blueridge community volunteer who is graduating and will be attending post-secondary school in BC.
  • Project Community creates opportunities for local businesses to schedule multiple Blueridge residents together, creating savings in money and time for both the businesses and residents.
  • Recycle For The BCA: taking your recycling to a participating Return-It depot helps fund all the programs you see listed here!
  • The Sharing Garden is a community garden and oasis between Carnation and Lytton Streets, across from Seymour Heights School. Garden beds allow participating residents to grow fruits & vegetables. And don’t miss the little free library!
  • The Sitter Directory is an updated list of Blueridge residents who can help with your child, house, and pet sitting needs!
  • Welcoming New Residents: the BCA has a Welcome Committee! Check our our brochure too!
