After three decades in Blueridge, I’m proud to use my professional background to ensure the BCA remains a strong, well-managed resource for all our neighbours.

The Steady Hand

Tell us about your history with the BCA. I’ve been a resident of Blueridge for 30 years and have had the privilege of serving as a board member and the BCA Treasurer for the last decade. As a retired accountant, I find it rewarding to give back by managing the financial health of our association.

What brings you the most pride in your work? Ensuring that the community’s resources are handled with care, so we can continue to fund the events and initiatives that make Blueridge a great place to live.

Beyond the Ledger

When he isn’t balancing the books for the BCA, Ted is incredibly active and loves to explore—whether it’s on a court, a course, or across the ocean.

• On the Court & Green: Ted is an avid tennis player and a member of the Hollyburn Country Club. He’s also a frequent face at our local golf courses and makes sure to get away for a dedicated week of golf once a year.
• Exploring BC: Keep an eye out for his camper! Once or twice a year, Ted and his family head out to explore the beautiful landscapes of British Columbia.
• World Traveller: Ted has always been a traveller, having spent a year all over Europe in 1970. He has visited all the continents except Antarctica. He plans to spend a week playing golf in September 2026 in Faro, Portugal, with two other couples and then two weeks touring the country in a rental car.
