Showing Up for Community

What brought you to the BCA board? We bought our dream home in Blueridge back in 2005 to raise our boys in a safe, connected neighbourhood. Over the years, volunteering became my way of giving back and staying tied to the people around us. I’m passionate about keeping Blueridge welcoming, supporting the local traditions that bring us together, and encouraging others to lend their unique talents to local initiatives.

What specific initiatives do you focus on? I am the lead for Project Community and a very active member of the Blueridge Sharing Garden! Whether we are organizing community-building projects or nurturing our shared garden space, I love helping turn great ideas into real, tangible connections for our neighbours.

What unique perspective do you bring to the team? I love connecting with people, organizing ideas, and making things happen. I firmly believe that the best communities are built when everyone contributes their own distinct strengths, experiences, and ideas—no matter how big or small.

Living the West Coast Lifestyle

  • The Blueridge Highlight: While our trails, mountains, wildlife, and ocean views are incredible, what truly makes Blueridge special is the people. Everything happens here because neighbours care enough to show up for one another.
  • The Perfect Afternoon Off: You’ll find me exploring the local trails, tending to the garden, cruising on my e-bike, or heading out on my paddleboard. We are so lucky to have mountains, forests, and the ocean all within reach right outside our doors.
  • A Fun Fact: I’m a big foodie! I love hosting gatherings for family and friends, taking cooking classes, and experimenting with new recipes.
