The Tech Champion & Trail Enthusiast

I saw how special this community was right from our first neighborhood meet-and-greet. My goal is to remove the IT friction so our amazing volunteers can focus entirely on making Blueridge thrive.

Breaking Down IT Barriers

What brought you to the BCA? When my family and I first arrived in Blueridge, we went to a community meet-and-greet. Meeting everyone—from folks who had lived here a lifetime to fellow newcomers—instantly made us feel welcome. I saw how special this neighbourhood association was and was inspired by the other volunteers to step up and help.

How does your background help your work behind the scenes?
I come from a software development background, so I handle the complex IT side of things. My focus is supporting our website, managing the hosting, and tackling technical complexities so the rest of the team has fewer digital barriers to worry about.

What is your favourite BCA event?
Blueridge Good Neighbour Day (BGND), of course!

Local Life & Trail Recommendations

  • The Perfect Afternoon: Any free time I get is spent hiking or mountain biking on some of the best trails in the world right in our backyard. If I’m not on the trails, I’m usually rowing or enjoying downtime with my family.
  • The Blueridge “Must-Do”: In the summer, walk or bike down the Hyannis trail to just before the bridge. Go for a swim and let the kids jump off the rocks into the water. It reminds me of unforgettable moments from my own childhood—it’s an amazing place.
  • A Fun Fact: I am a huge rabbit fan!
  • Blueridge in One Word: Serenity.
