Connecting Our Streets, One Doorstep at a Time
I believe a well-informed community is a strong one. My goal is to make sure every neighbour feels included and knows exactly what’s happening in our vibrant backyard.
Professional Passion, Personal Roots
What brought you to the BCA? I moved to Blueridge in 2007 and joined BGND to promote my home daycare business. I was inspired by how the community came together to create such a welcoming event.
I started volunteering by delivering newsletters with my young children. Now I am proud to be the Newsletter Distribution Coordinator.
What makes Blueridge special to you? I love Blueridge for its natural beauty, from the trails to the river and our community garden. Just as important is the strong sense of community.
I enjoy meeting neighbours and making new friends. That welcoming spirit is why I love Blueridge, and I am proud to call it home.
What is your favourite neighbourhood memory? My favourite memory is caring for the children of the Blueridge community. After 25 years running my daycare. It is incredibly rewarding to see the children I once cared for grow into young adults.
Local Life
- Finding the Quiet: On a peaceful afternoon in Blueridge, you can often find Fariba enjoying the natural beauty of our local trails and appreciating the community’s unique North Shore atmosphere.
- Favourite Pastime: On the day we moved in, my next-door neighbour came over to say hello, and we quickly became close friends. That warm welcome is something I’ve always remembered.
- Blueridge in a Word: Connected.
