Here we share the news stories we’ve found that matter to Blueridge residents in one way or another. Each month these are included in the latest issue of the Blueridge Bulletin as well, our subscription email.
Also note that sometimes we track major stories on our homepage.

- District of North Vancouver homeowners face 3.5% tax increase – this is old news to regular readers of the column, or the News from the Sausage Factory column in the Blueridge Bulletin. The anticipated tax increase hasn’t changed in months.
- Share your input on the 2026 draft budget – public input open from February 13 to March 2.
- The DNV’s 2026-2030 Draft Financial Plan will be introduced at a DNV Council meeting on February 17, 2026, with the public input period running from February 13, 2026, to March 2, 2026. - District of North Vancouver wants auditor general for Metro
- Experts, not politicians, should oversee projects like North Shore Wastewater Plant: Catherine Pope
