Re: Mount Seymour Parkway & South Lytton St. – Restoration Works – Weekly Update

Dear Residents and Neighbours,

We are pleased to inform you that the Spring Break construction window allocated for civil works on Mt. Seymour Parkway and Lytton St. has been successfully completed. The access ramp to the Ron Andrews Recreational Centre from Lytton St. has been fully reconstructed and now features a new design that will improve both vehicular and pedestrian safety, providing safer and more efficient access to and from the facility for the community.

Please note that this access ramp will remain closed until April 2nd to allow the newly placed concrete and asphalt to properly cure. The ramp is scheduled to reopen to the public on Friday, April 3rd, at which point it will be fully operational.

Effective March 30th, there will be no traffic closures or restrictions on Mt. Seymour Parkway or Lytton St., and normal traffic conditions will resume in both areas.

The final phase of offsite civil works is anticipated to take place during Summer Break 2026, while SD44 is out of session. Further details will be communicated well in advance.
