Re: Mount Seymour Parkway – Permanent Restoration Works – Weekly Update

Dear Residents and Neighbours,
Further to our previous notice regarding the improvement works at the intersection of Mt. Seymour Parkway and Lytton Street, we would like to provide a follow‑up update on the activities scheduled for next week. The works are progressing as planned, and the upcoming tasks will focus on continuing the installation and commissioning of the new traffic cameras and traffic signal poles to enhance safety and traffic operations in the area.
The safety of our trade partners and the community remains our highest priority. We will continue to implement rigorous safety measures to ensure a safe working environment for all.
Scope of Work:
Mt. Seymour Parkway & Lytton St.:
- Installation of new traffic cameras.
- Installation of traffic signal poles in their final permanent locations.
- Cable installation crossing Mt. Seymour Parkway requires traffic crossover.
What to expect:
- From Monday, November 17th to Friday, November 21st, we will be continuing these restoration and improvement works along Mt. Seymour Parkway in the vicinity of Lytton St.
- Various traffic control configurations and lane closures will be implemented as required; however, one lane of traffic will always be maintained in both eastbound and westbound directions.
- Work hours: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm.
- Access to South Lytton St. will remain open; however, please expect potential delays. It is recommended to access South Lytton St. via Berkley Rd through CanLan and Ron Andrews Rec Centre.
- All crews will be working within designated, controlled areas to minimize impact on the public.
An updated notice will be distributed on November 21st.
