The Trailblazer & Event Planner
Too many people complain that things don’t get done, but they don’t get involved. I joined the BCA to stop complaining and start planning!
Leading the Way
What motivated you to join the BCA board? I’ve always believed that if you want to see activities happen in your community, you have to be part of the process. My goal during my term is to encourage more residents to get involved. Involvement is the “secret sauce” that makes a neighbourhood thrive.
What professional skills do you bring to our community? I have a deep background in guiding and planning events for large hiking clubs and major organizations. I’m used to the logistics of moving big groups of people and making sure everyone has a safe, great time—skills that come in handy when organizing our local events!
What is your favourite Blueridge tradition? Definitely Blueridge Good Neighbour Day and our local trail maintenance days. There is something very rewarding about working together to keep our backyard beautiful.
