October 17, 2026

Our next local election is coming on October 17, 2026. Local government has a lot of influence over our daily lives, and this is our opportunity to choose those who will represent us and make the local decisions that affect us, from housing density to local tax rates.

The BCA is strictly nonpartisan, and we’ll never tell anyone who to vote for. But we strongly encourage voting, and this page is our guide to help you participate in the election.

We add information about candidates as it becomes available.

Voting in the District of North Vancouver

  • Mail ballot request form available – to vote by mail in our local election, you need to request your mail-in ballot before September 23, 2026, and completed ballots need to be received at DNV Municipal Hall before 8pm on election day, October 17, 2026

All Candidates Meeting

The BCA co-hosts an All Candidates Meeting with a number of other organizations. It’s a chance to hear directly from the candidates and ask questions. This time, the event is scheduled for:

• October 8, 2026
• 7 – 10 pm
• Mount Seymour United Church

If you cannot attend that meeting, there are several other All Candidates Meetings hosted by different groups. A good list exists towards the bottom of this page on the DNV website.

Voting Days

• October 7: Advanced voting at
  DNV Municipal Hall
  8 am to 8 pm
• October 10: Advanced voting at
  DNV Municipal Hall and Parkgate Community Centre
  8 am to 8 pm
• October 12: Advanced voting at
  DNV Municipal Hall and Parkgate Community Centre
  8 am to 8 pm
• October 17: General election day.
  Our local polling places are open 8 am to 8 pm:
  • Blueridge Elementary
  • Windsor Secondary
  • You can also vote at any of the other polling stations in the DNV. See DNV polling place map for more information.

To avoid any bias, candidates are ordered randomly. Every time you load this page their order will change.

Note as of Sept 22, 2026: There are still candidates below without website links. In those cases we have been unable to find them despite repeated searches. If you’re a candidate listed below and we have not included your website, please send us an email with the link at webmaster@blueridgeca.org. We’re happy to add those links whenever we learn them. Without such links, we cannot point our readers to your information and platform.
