Blueridge Bulletin – July 2014

1) Missing Dog in Blueridge

2) Blueridge Good Neighbour Day was a great success this year – helped by the amazing weather that we have had for almost the entire month of June. It is estimated that over 800 people attended BGND. Many thanks to Iain Bendall who took some great photos of the day (see the photos here). A huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers and sponsors, without whom we couldn’t put on this event. And another big THANK YOU to the businesses and organizations that donated items to the Silent Auction.

Believe it or not, we are already looking ahead to next year, with Sunday June 7th as the date. If you love Blueridge Good Neighbour Day, why not volunteer your time to help us out. Planning meetings will start in January – but we always need people on the day. If you can spare as little as an hour of your time, you can be part of something special. Any questions, comments, concerns or feedback from BGND can go to our email at info [at] blueridgeca [dot] org.

3) We’d love it if you could fill out our survey about Blueridge Good Neighbour Day. It’s short (only a few questions) and your feedback is very valuable to us.

4)  Are you wondering what’s been happening at the District? The District of North Vancouver’s 2013 Annual Report, is now ready for review online at www.dnv.org/annualreport2013. If you have questions, keep in mind that the Mayor will be visiting the Blueridge Community Association meeting on Tuesday, September 9th at 7:00 pm in the Blueridge Elementary School library.
