On June 27th, 2018, the Department of National Defence (DND) will host a public information session with the Northlands community about precautionary site surveys for military ordnance (also known as unexploded explosive ordnance or UXO), at the former Blair Rifle Range. DND experts will be on hand to discuss the work undertaken to ensure the safety of the community, and to answer your questions.

If you see something that looks like it may be UXO, please follow these steps:
- Don’t touch it.
- Turn around and leave the area the same way you came in.
- Call 911 or local police.
